Mainstream media can feel like a bin fire. Between the doom and gloom headlines and the focus on what’s broken, it’s easy to feel like the world is defined by its problems.

Bom Hadau is here to change the narrative. Our mission? To tell the stories that usually go unheard: the stories of radical hope, local action, and the people making our city a better place for the planet.

To create the zine, we involve people from all over Newport in the process. Everything from story writing, to editing, to distribution is made possible through grassroots organisation and democratic decision making. There are opportunities for anyone wanting to get involved whatever your skill level. Please fill out the google form.
